Brick of the Future – Amsterdam Academy of Architecture

  • Overview: A project showcasing student-designed, sustainable bricks made with less energy, recycled materials, and innovative stacking techniques. It focuses on creating eco-friendly building materials.
  • Collaborators: In partnership with Dutch brick factories: Den Daas (Azewijn), Zilverschoon (Randwijk), and StoneCycling-St. Joris (Beesel).
  • Program: Part of Crafting the Facade, a European Erasmus program involving Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, Universiteit of Liechtenstein, and Mackintosh School of the Arts (Glasgow).
  • Goals: Promote sustainable brick production, energy-efficient methods, and the use of recycled materials in construction.
